Devil Heir
by Rachel Leigh
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I love stories of step siblings, especially those with enemies to lovers.
I honestly didn’t like Blaise at all in the beginning and was curious how his path would go in the story.
I just felt sorry for Penelope, being thrown into a new family unintentionally and then being bullied, hated or shunned by everyone at the stepbrother’s request, brutal.
Just to be able to guess the thought of the new stepfather was bad for her, the heartlessness of the mother makes stunned.
Unfortunately, she could not defend herself with her shy and nice character.
It has caused me partly heart palpitations when you had to read the handling of Penny then as in the present time. I just wanted to hold her dear and really beat up the rest.
With the chapters of Blaise I could then understand him better and then liked him, but his way was wrong.
I could now share a lot about my thoughts regarding the other characters, but that would be too much.
Conclusion: In the end, yes, I almost loved Blaise, was happy with Penelope, grateful for Paxton and Wade.
A book with depths in different directions, but a happy happy ending. Perfectly written and described, I could feel everything and understand the thoughts mostly.
