Trope: Rockstar Romance, Brother’s best friend

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Loved it massive

Tysin and Kyla’s story is full of emotions till it can’t get no more. Not an average brother’s best friend / rockstar romance. It blew me away.

Tysin and Kyla know each other since childhood and before Rebels Havoc. But really know someone is just as simple as the other allows you to. After a secret “relationship” two years ago that didn’t end well both are forced to be together for 3 months. Tysin doesn’t want her there and Kyla is with someone else now. Should be easy since she hates him. But closed proximity always comes with a price.

But suddenly everything seems to go south since a message Kyla received.

And there is the fact that both have huge secrets that could destroy any chance of anything. Inclusive the little thing called big brother / best friend.

Heartbreaking secrets com finally to light, confessions were made, and wrong things turned right.

Many loveable characters, storylines that makes you want to read the next book right away. Beautifully broken people with the hearts on the right place.

Emotional start

What an emotional story to start a new series. Made my heart race with every page I turned. This is the first book in the series: Vegas Aces: The Wide Recveiver. It is the story of Tristan and Tessa. Next door neighbors and highschool sweethearts. Sadly, they weren’t meant to be. Or more, there were circumstances and people who had a hand in the decisions 7 years ago. We scrap at the surface of an amazing story to come. With many villains, routes to go and discover and things to happen. Secrets that were hidden for long will come out, truths are revealed, and new desires pop up unexpected.

Tessa suffers from her past, and that for many different reasons. She searches distraction in her work and supposed to be fling.

Tristan wants to move on, he had, but now he is stuck with a bad made decisions that he can’t get rid of.

As waves seem to crash over their heads, both head home, in the wish to get rest, only to find out that both got the same idea.

I can’t wait to know how this goes on. There are so many possibilities that I can’t see or guess where it will lead to. I am truly curious what happens next.

Wonderful Second Chance Romance

Noah and Alda’s story is bittersweet. 4 Years ago they could have been a match made for forever. But parts of life and miscommunications or their lack of communication got in their way. Hurt, anger and stubborness failed a happy end. But now they could get a second chance. Maybe. If old hurt feelings could overcome and old mistakes don’t get repeated. Two authors who are great with words and feelings as long as it is on paper, but can’t form them into sentences.

I liked that both characters are willing to change and try their best at it. Their way is rocky. A lot of things and feelings have to come to terms.

But new old feelings and undeniable attraction is a good help.

We get an extremely good insight in Noahs feelings through his book. We learn little by little about the things that Alda wasn’t able to talk about. And of course, lots of good, hot and steamy scenes. These were truly fawning.

A wonderful book with wonderful characters. Can’t wait for the next book in this series. Because the sidecharacters were a fantastic addition and made me curious

Trope: An enemies-to-lovers Office Romance

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Full of a little bit of everything

This book impressed me unknowst. I found the blurb very interesting and dived in without further knowledge. And am I glad I did. So much funny and witty encounters, so many steamy and hot moments. And so much unspoken thruths and confessions.

The story of Mr Irresistable, Tyler Cannon, and sassy Maysen Jones is unique. Despite knowing each other since second grade but not seeing for 10 years, Maysen is more likely shocked to discover who is her boss at her new job. But more shocking is, that it seems that he didn’t recognize her. But to be honest, nothing new there, in highschool it was the same and gladly Maysen is so over her teenage crush for him. Right? But when the pin drops finally it seems the hunt is open. There are so much more aspects, sideeffects and little hurdles in the way to a happy end, that made me want to read more and more. And truly, I was sad as I finished it. Yeah, it was that good. New formed friendships, jealous co-workers, old friendships reactivated and a lot of secrets to come to light. In more ways than you would guess.

I liked Maysen and her being in every way. She hadn’t had it easy but not in a bad kind of way. She can stand her ground and for herself. She takes as good as she gives and is a woman who wants to blend in the crowd… well, mostly.

Tyler, this guy is honest, if you like it or. He tests Maysens limits and his own as well in the process. He likes his work but isn’t an overarchiver. But when sets his sight he goes for them and all in… well mostly.

I would like to read more from this world, because there are a few sidecharacters that made me curious about them.

Just beautiful

The Kincaids are the type of family you want for yourself. They are close, caring, loving andyou are never alone. This here is the story of Brooks and Palmer. Being connected through family and friends they know each other most of their lifes. Despite the fact that Palmer has a crush on Brooks for years, she never acted that way or let anybody know. Brooks is attracted to Palmer but he never would act on it or saw more in it. But one evening and an overheard confession later things change. They become friends… with benefits, and rules. But the lines are getting blurred. And some rules are to be broken and than you want to stay over.

I loved, Palmer, Brooks, their families and friends. The made the whole picture. The story is slow burned with many insighhts in the family dynamic and the thoughts of the characters. No drama needed. It spoke for itself.

As always the failure laid in the lack of communications between the two main characters. But their way through their story and the little surprise in the end was the little heartbreaking moments worth.

Next strike

Made me laugh, sigh and believe in the one big and real love, even if it comes at the second chance.

Weddings are the successful business of Clarabella and her sisters, but their own each one fail the term of being picture perfect or take place at all. Sassy and settled Clarabella Baker is at a loss of words when her boyfriend asks her to marry her in front of over hundred people. So she said yes. But she should have known better. After an awkward encounter with a blast from the not so far past and different signs before it should habe been clear. Luke has to watch Clarabella getting married. His biggest regretful decision was to walk away. Realize that his declaration of a mistake was the real mistake. But then things suddenly turn around in his favor and he gets a second chance. But about what? And how does Clarabella feel. After a cancelled wedding, a spontanous excursion and a broken heart.

A really good and funny book, with lovable characters, a swoonworthy Luke, a sassy and demanding Clarabella. Noisy sisters, and a mom on the verge of loosing her mind with her kids and a brother who always knows to make a situation loosen up.

Just as fun to read like the previous books and looking forward to the next ones. I like the characters so much and you feel with and for them.

Wonderful

With heartwarming and heartbreaking moments.

August lives and breathes hockey. Going pro at the NHL is his one and only goal. And then along comes Poppy. What was meant to be a fling didn’t work out that way. After a heavy decision what’s best Poppy disappears from August’s life. But when he finds her and finds out about her secret, he sees his planned life with different eyes. Two young people who didn’t want committed relationships. An independent woman, a star player and a bunch of feelings to handle.

When there are suddenly more important things in life and you have to convince the other one that your prioritys have changed. As well as the feelings.

I adored Poppy’s will of independence and loved August’s change of heart.

A rocky journey with real and struggles. But beautiful brought together in the end.

Favorite Quote: “Yes, it is. It always will be. Be my problem, Mila. Be my fucking problem,” he says angrily. “I want you to be.”

A love so great

An incredible beautiful story. So high on emotions that brings you to your knees. Every page is full of feelings in every way. A wonderful created world with characters you feel near to because they so real that it could be the person next to you. I love them all.

Beau or Bama as he is known these days and Mila have history. Like a lot. Grown up as neighbors, their parents close, they spend most of their childhood together. As close as posssible, their friendship could turn into more. Till an lifechanging event turns the lifes of these two families into a mess.

“Get over it, Mila. I wasn’t your friend anyway“…

Two years later Bama and Mila face each other again. And friendship turned into something like hate. That is what Bama lets Mila feel. But little does he know how persistent and stubborn she has become. And the fighting begins, and the question is which one wins? Head or heart?

Was pushing her away really worth it?

And when things seems to work out and we are getting in the right direction, fate strikes, as it always does, in an all-shattering worst case scenario. And now everything is reversed than it was at the beginning.

“I’m never going to be your friend, Mi.” He kneels before me. “If the flowers and other deliveries haven’t proven that to you, I’ll have to try something else.”

I can’t tell much more because everything in this book is unique. The characters, the places and their hobbies … that makes the story.

Trope: Brother´s best friend, Friends-to-lovers Romance

Falling in love with this story

This book fulfills many different tropes. Brother´s best friend, friends-to-lovers, Single parent, Age-gap etc But combined them in the best way possible. Addyson has a longtime secret crush on her brother´s best friend but has to lay that to rest when she gets pregnant.

Graham doesn´t do commited relationships. But when Addyson, his best friends not-so-little-anymore sister needs help, he provides her and her son to live with him till their appartment is fixed.

And at that point everything these two believed in and lived for will questioned. The attraction between them is undeniable, old and new feelings get mixed. But there are not only the feelings of Addy and Graham on the line, friendship too, and a few little secrets makes the possible lovestory not easier.

A sweet and beautiful book without any unnecessary complications and an adorable little boy who brings the sun whenever he is there.

Nervous awaited conclusion

This story is not for the faint of heart. There is so much dark, angst and hurt, but it fits the story of course. The book picks up where the former part ended. Delilah at the brothel. And Lucas on his way to get her. But nothing is as simple as it could be. The changes in the characters they made, fighting the darkness and getting stronger. Twist and turns, betrayal and a lot more keeps you read and read til you finished the book.

Lucas struggles with the daknes in him, but is he really so bad as let us see or pretends to. We see actually another side too.

Delilah only and simply wants someone who loves and cares for her. Because that is something she never had in her life.

I never felt as heartbroken for someone as in this book I felt for Delilah. And at the same time happy to see Lucas accepting his feelings. I lovd the end for two things. One: Lucas & Delilahs conclusion and two: it will go on.

I am leaving this review voluntarily.
