Funny and with more than one storyline

A funny story with many storylines. Full of witty banters, pranks, angst, desire and a little bit of love. So much more than just a love story. It includes secrets, betrayal and a touch of CSI.

Makayla returns home for an unfortunate event or two and the wedding of her best friend. That is when she meets him again. Her sworn enemy from childhood. And it seems he doesn´t recognize her, so it could be used for her advantage … for payback. But when the secret is discovered things get messy at first. And one leads to another. But that is when everythings gets turned upside down and more secrets come to light and events roll around.

Ben struggles with many aspects from his past. The only good in his life are his friends and his job. He like schallenges and when a blast from the past returns his life comes to a new purpose.

Makayla didn´t have a life that was worth remembering. Being home again is not something she wants to. The only good is seeing her best friend again.

I liked both main characters very much, they made me laugh a lot, but their past made me also cry a lot of times. The bunch of friends were the best. A perfect fit for this book. An unexpected turn of a part from this story was exactly that piece that made the book the perfectly good.

A wonderful story with so much more than you can see at first and will expect. Awesome. Amazingly written, all on point and in the right words.

Leaves room for more

This isn’t just a standard MC Romance. This contains so much more. Love, crime, Mafia, alliances etc.

We learn about the story of Ace and Jaine. Despite being friends for a long time, their story is full of hurt, missunderstanding and secret love. And that brings us to the story itself. After getting her heart broken and leaving her hometown Jaine returns 10 years later because of a tragic circumstance. After getting his heart broken Ace has sworn love off or secretly hoping for one wish to come true when PJ return home. But the changes in their lifes has both turned in people they don´t know anymore.

Jaines life is full of secrets, MC business and love complications. Despite her age she is still the hurt young girl who has trust issues and won´t commit to anybody. But suddenly things where turned, betrayal, complots and hurt feelings become the center oft he actions.

The story has a lot POVs that will lead into many more books. We get an inside look oft he MC world, Irish Mafia and everything around them.

The end was very interesting and I´m curious to read what will come next and who.

Not your average Characters

The story of Lachlan and Elena is different than others. Not an normal love story. They couldn’t be more different but share the same circle of friends. Their opinion for the other one isn’t always the best. But suddenly they get closer, the attraction undeniable and they give in. But to prevent hurt and false promises the make a pact and promises.  And than things get out of hand, and additionally comes something from the past. And promises were broken. And not just promises.

Two charaters who both struggle with issues. Elena is formed by her past. A mother with psysical problems triggered by some sort of physical ones, and a ex-boyfriend who treated her bad. Pressure, bad experiences made her the way she is and behaves. She comes through as independent, cold and careless but as true it is sometimes, there is a lot of show and self-defense for her feelings. Lachlan doesn’t want to get attached. To anyone. He cares for his friends and roommates but because his future is laid out he stays for himself. He doesn’t open up and has his own little secrets. But as much as he trys to feel nothing, he fails. And he cares.

I liked Elena the more I learned about her and her past. I understood her and felt for her. She became the way because of her past. Lachlan is a good guy, with good intentions. I get that. But his way to handle things wasn’t the best.

This book contains some heavy themes, but they don’t get too  much into detail. They lead to get to know the characters and their thoughts and feelings. You learn how important it is to talk to others about your problems. With friends, your partner, family or if necessary even a therapist.

I liked how Elena handled the class New Ventures. You know what I mean when you read it. Thanks.

Expect the unexpected

Wow! Just Wow. It knocked me down, put me up and started all over again. This book has it all. Love Story, Crime, Friendship and lots of missing answers. I dived in the story and from page to page I found myself alternate between sighs from the sweetness and being disgusted with some dudes and their deeds. And no, it is no one from the inner circle. We learn more about the friends, things gonna happen that makes you happy and things happen that makes you want to throw the book away. The cliffhanger is mean but exactly at the right point. Sorry fellows, she did good. I have questions, I want answers… and I want it now! Kidding! A freaking awesome book with everything you ask for. I can´t see where it could possibly end in the third book, but I believe the way from page one till the end will be full of tears, angst, worry and so much more.

I liked Bri in this book even more than in the first one. She seemed to grow up at many points and let herself finally see her true feelings and despite her worry act toward them.

Tanners development was similar stunning. For his love he learns to work onhs issues. Mostly with success. I liked what length he would go fort he ones he cares for.

The circle of friends and their sort of friendship is… special at some points, but every one of them would go through fire for each other.

I hope that it will work out for everyone of them.

This book is everything

What a huge amount of emotion you have to go through with this book. It draws out every emotion available till ist last drop. But it was all worth for. The waiting for the what ifs and what coulds. To me, this book is everything. The story of Batman and Callie is and was always full of angst, doubt and of course  love and desire. From the first page on in this book you feel everything the main characters felt. My heart broke for all of them and got stitched together eventually.

Callie grew more more and more into the young woman she was meant to be. Despite her situation and the resulting sadness, she did go on. In hopes and maybe because she saw it as her task. And at least she finally could be the person she always wanted to be.

Almost every character who appears in this book makes a change. Most in a good and surprising way. And things changed in the same way, like a lot. Some unpredictable, some you might have see coming, but to read it was much needed and soothing.

And there some twists and turns, and no matter how small they may have been.

I’m very curious where the remainig books will lead us or the charaters to. But for now my heart is still beating…

Favorite Quote: “ I never stopped loving you.”

Wonderful emotional

A wonderful emotionally second chance romance with a past full of secrets and tragic. Secrets and missunderstandings were a constant silent companion in the past of Tristian and Belle. And the reason they became strangers and enemies for twenty years. But now the tables were turned, by their grandfathers. And contracts were made have to be fulfilled. With no option to back out. But can Tristian and Belle get over theirselfs and overcome their past to have the future they want.

I liked Belle really very much but her younger version were sometimes … stubborn. But I think in her shoes you can understand her too. The Belle today is determind to proof she is rightly in the position she holds. But with the fate hanging over her head now, she slowly begins to doubt some things in her life she were sure of till now.

Tristian, wow, I loved this man. First you think, you have him all figured out, but really fast you see that there is more to him than his playboy ways. The more time he spends with Belle, the more he reveals, the faster you love him. He is honest, maybe in a harsh way sometimes, but he doesn’t lie. He is anxious to convince Belle of himself.

But can they get their second chance with everything they slowly discover and what is on the line? A truely touching story of two people who didn’t really move on from their teenager love and their fight for their inherit and themselfs. Loved it.

Favorite Quote: But I didn’t care about that. I only cared that she knew I was in. All in.

I’m overwhelmed

I knew I would be sad, because it is the last book. I knew I couln’t wait to read as soon as I got the book. But I hadn’t imagine in the slightest that I would be THAT overwhelmed by my feelings. I cried a lot, I sighed a lot too, because come on. Cole? What a guy. He set the bar really really high in the bookboyfriend zone. What an emotional story. Normally you would say, save the best for last. But here it should be, save the most emotional story for last. This book isn’t just about first love, betraying the best friend or when do they get together? It is so much more.

Sofia is possible the most unselfish young girl that I read about in long time. Her strong will to set everyone and their needs before her own. Even it is the most wrong decision. I can’t describe her without becoming very emotional.

Cole as said above is most perfect in almost every category. He has a lot to deal with himself, but he handles everything in a way you can`t impossibly be mad with him. He is selfless somestimes against his own good. He is careful for friends and family.

Why not going more in detail you may sak. I simply can`t. I would spoil otherwise. And believe you have to read this incredible story.

And if you do? You won’t be able to put it down until you’ve finished it. It is, as all the authors books, unbelievable good written. Informative, sensitive, emotional and on point. A page-turner. Thanks for such an amazing world that was created in this series and the former one. I will never forget it and definitely read them again. And than again.

Favotite Quote: “You’re my everything, so I had to go big to make sure you finally saw me as I wanted you to. I want you to be mine for real this time.”

Has all the feels

I waited soooo long for this book, and I am happy so say I ‚m not disappointed. Not in the least. A very sweet and beautiful story that gives you all the feels. And with the most adorable characters ever. Two young people who want to need each other to achieve their goals without realizing that they could be each others endgame. A story about friendship, be a friend and also get your own wish.

If someone deserves the title bookboyfriend of the year, it is Cooper Vale. Such a sweet, caring and lovingly boy. A boy torn between brotherhood, friendship and desire and the need to find a way to keep everything. His flaw not to be open with what he wants.

Tatum is a girl to look up to. One with goals she is determind to achieve. She needs help and at the same time helps others. What she did for Cooper was wonderful and she did it in such a wonderful way that made me sigh for this girl. Her flaw is her lack of communications.

A really beautifully written book which you can and will re-read a lot of times. Sensitive written when needed, and with many funny moments. The dynamic between all the characters was nice and easy. But the chemistry between Cooper and Tatum was hot, sparks everytime they were together. Yeah, I want more from this world, more from the people of South Bay. And my guess or let’s say my wish were for J + S. Fingers crossed. Thanks for such an awesome book.

Final book in this series

What a emotional and raw story. Nobody sees how Kat struggles. Being the little sister of Diesel and taken care of her Mom takes a toll on her. Pretending to be the life of a party that she isn’t. She is in love with Styx for a very long time, but Styx declined her because he wants not more problems with Diesel. With Ryder in the mix who at first wants just to be a friend for Kat and pushes Styx in her direction.

I loved how Stxy overcome himself to do everything what Kat needs and wants. He is a great combo with Ryder but that takes a step up.

Every one of them has is own story, and together these three are a perfect combination. Which complement each other.

Put you through a lot of emotions and tears. But worked out in a sooo good way.

„Heart Keeper“ byAnnie Dyer

Not a average Romance

The story of Nate And Amber has not the typical order. But that is what makes it so interesting. Working for the same football club: He the goal keeper, she the physio, the know each other. Good enough to know that to date each other were no such a good decision. But that wouldn’t stop them to learn more about them in other ways. Not always the wisest choice as you will read.

It took a while for me but after learning more about Amber, I liked her. She knows what she wants and what she doesn’t want. She is independent, engaged in her work, liked by friends and clients but after a awful experience insecure of herself.

Nate has lot on his shoulders. Widower, single parent and goalkeeper to a successful football club. He finally wants to move on, but he has to learn how and knows the person he wants to try with has not the same goals as he, at some point.

The way this story goes is not new, but rare. So you get very curious where this will lead to and end, because the characters are slightly unpredictable. I liked it a lot because I wanted to know how it went on. Fluidly but nevertheless sensitive and detailed written.
