What a beautifully slowly building love story!

Emotional high alert! From hating to friendship, from friendship to the one and only kind of love. Many circumstances and emotions forced Astor and Keagan together. The greatest is grief. The question troughout the book is, can that turn into something real or will it always be a forced feeling.

And the author answered it such a beautiful way. A really, despite everything, sweet and wonderful story. Two characters, both with sad and depressing pasts. Who were by those turned into the people they are today.

Men-disliking, careerorientated and independent Keagan. Working in a men dominated industry. Always one to say what she thinks and sometimes what she feels too.

Astor, who doesn’t show his true self. To anyone. But does so much that counts more than words.

Two opposites who were forced together by a little miracle. We slowly discover each of their stories, get to know them and read as they they do this as well.

I cried a lot, like full on. I also laughed hard sometimes. And well in the end liked when there would have been more pages.

A sensitve on point written lovestory you won’t be able to forget that easy.

Perfect ending for the Campus Series

An amazing series comes to an end. And despite being truly sad about it, it has the best ending imaginable.

Asher is a legend. On and off the footballfield. He has a reputation with women and is proud of it. His one and only concern is getting drafted to the NFL.

Lola’s life switches between classes, work and worrying about her mother. Lola had some not so friendly encounters with Asher in the past.

But a few unfortunate circumstances bring them together and closer. And with the time both learn that their opinion of each other wasn’t always right or as it seemed.

I loved the way these two get know each other. Changed their minds and discover things about the other that wasn’t forseeable. It was so careful and sensitive written that you could understand point on point when and why things changed. So there was no way and need to get upset with one of these two.

Yeah, there was one time…, where I doubted the decision that were made, but just short because in the end it worked out pretty perfectly. There were many things that I didn’t see coming and characters that I wanted to shake.

The author had me more than once on the verge of tears. For now, I have to let it sink in that it really happened. The end…

Sweet like sugar!

What a sweet and beautiful story. Luke and Kylie’s journey began a long time ago, but was sadly interrupted. Now, 15 years  and 2 heartbraking experiendes later, fate lead these two to each other again. But life isn’t as simple as it was when they were teenagers. And wants and needs to coordinate is not easy. Then put a little girl in the mix and everything is fine in Love you, Maine? Or it either is not so much as it could be. My heart was with Kylie all the time. Life and people throw her sticks and stones in her way, but she always made at least the best of it, till now. Luke is the definition of “guy who deserves love”. With family, friends and a heart of a town it was the perfect read for a feel good time. It had many funny moments that had me rofl. And moments of sighs. At a sad or sweet chapter. You get easily attached to all the characters and want to know more about them. Funny, caring and sensitive written at the right time and on point.

New but soooo good!

This book is what Movie’s are made of. It shows us two people with two lifes that couldn’t be more different. And at the same time it teaches us a lecture. How to treat, or better, not to treat people. That, what you see at first isn’t always the only thing that matters. I felt so deeply with Jamie from the first page till the last one. All she does, suffered and dreams she know she wouldn’t reach. Gavin was an idiot. At first. The he wasn’t. And at that point I liked him. But we know that the big ending has yet to come. And it does. But to my like it got not as bad as I thought. And of course we got what we wanted from the first page on. It was fun reading, written in a fluidly style with great and witty characters. Hello granny. It’s something you don’t get to read that much but should. At the end you see things differently, in a good way. Thanks.
